Return Policy

At HabyMart, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, you can return most items within 30 days of delivery — that’s more than double the 14-day minimum required by EU law.

This Return Policy applies to all orders placed through habymart.shop and is provided in compliance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as an EU consumer.


1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. This exceeds the 14-day right of withdrawal guaranteed under EU consumer law.

For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the 30-day period begins from the day you receive the last item in your order.


2. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition
  • The item must be in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, batteries, chargers, and protective materials
  • The item must not show signs of use, damage, or modification beyond what is necessary to inspect the product (as you would in a physical shop)
  • You must provide your order number when initiating the return

Please note: You may inspect and test the product as you would in a physical store. However, you are responsible for any decrease in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.


3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us by email at info@habymart.shop with the subject line: “Return Request — Order #[your order number]”
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your full name
    • Order number
    • Product(s) you wish to return
    • Reason for return (optional — you are not required to give a reason within the withdrawal period)
  3. We will confirm your return request and provide you with return instructions and the return address within 1–2 business days
  4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it to the address provided

Important: Please do not send returns without contacting us first. Unauthorised returns may not be processed.


4. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error or a product defect, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return shipping costs in full.


5. Return Address

We recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage. We cannot be held responsible for return parcels lost in transit without tracking.


6. Inspection and Processing

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it within 5 business days. We will notify you by email of the outcome:

  • Return approved — Your refund will be processed (see our Refund Policy for details)
  • Return partially approved — A partial refund will be issued if the item shows signs of use or missing parts
  • Return declined — If the item does not meet return conditions, we will contact you to arrange return shipment at your cost

7. Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been used, assembled, or operated beyond basic inspection
  • Products damaged by the customer through misuse, negligence, or improper handling
  • Products returned without original packaging, accessories, or components
  • Products returned after the 30-day return window has expired
  • Products with removed or damaged serial numbers or labels

8. Defective Products

If your product arrives defective or develops a fault covered by our 2-year warranty:

  • Contact us at info@habymart.shop with your order number and a description or photo of the defect
  • We will provide a free prepaid return label
  • You may choose between a full refund, a replacement, or a repair (where applicable)
  • Defective product claims are not subject to the 30-day return window — they are covered under our 2-year warranty and EU legal guarantee

Under EU law, sellers are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery. During the first year, the defect is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery unless proven otherwise.


9. Exchanges

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product or variant:

  1. Initiate a return for the original item (following the process above)
  2. Place a new order for the desired product

Your refund for the returned item will be processed as soon as we receive and inspect it.
